MC Championship - Season 5 update – Maintenance details

We're now closing the maintenance status update for the Season 5 rollout. We're still aware of some remaining issues that we'll look to fix over the next few days. Thank you all for your patience whilst we've worked to roll this update out and enjoy Season 5!

The webstore is now back online!

We've rolled out the patch and everything is looking at lot smoother now. You may experience some minor progression delay, and your Crown/Style Level may be wrong for a little while, but both of these issues will sort themselves out as you play and gain more trophies, etc.

We've also turned the MCC Island API back online and will be looking to bring the Webstore back online shortly.

The server is back online now but we're aware of a few major issues with lag and progression not applying. We're looking into these now and are working on a fix as we speak. We've also taken the webstore back offline as we work on this.

Just a small update to let you all know we're still hard at work getting the update ready! We're onto the final stretch now, with just a few bug fixes and final testing to do to make sure Season 5 is all ready to play. See you soon!

Mornin' all! Just a small update to let you know we're back working on the update rollout. Overnight we believe we've fixed the hardware problems with some new servers so everything should be easier from this point on. We're still aiming to release mid-afternoon BST, but things might change in the case where we encounter any other issues. Stay tuned and see you soon!

We’ve unfortunately ran into unforeseeable hardware problems with our database servers during the update, so we’re making the decision to delay Season 5’s launch to tomorrow instead. This means we can be online with fresh minds as we roll the update out, allowing us to react to any new issues. Not to worry though, as with our new Mailbox system, we’ll be sending everyone some compensation gifts in the mail when we launch!

Everyone will get something, and fret-not, all daily streaks will be retained! Thank you, and see you tomorrow!
