MC Championship - Status Page

With our newest MCC Island update (that brought Battle Box Arena, Weapon Skins, Soft-skill matchmaking, and the multi-queue system) we have unfortunately run into quite a bit of unexpected server instability, causing lots of random issues across the board. We assume this was mostly introduced due to the matchmaking overhaul, and several large changes to the underlying game systems needed to support the changes.

In all, we don’t think it makes MCC Island a pleasant experience right now, so we’re choosing to put the server into maintenance mode for a few days while we can investigate why these problems occurred, and to fix the major issues that are effecting players.

Apologies for the inconvenience, we obviously didn’t want this to occur, but these issues were largely unexpected, and only discovered when we witnessed the patch applied at scale (We wanted to do this last night, but weekends are always the worst time to take the server down).

While the downtime is undetermined for now, rest assured that login streaks will be retained, and all users will be compensated appropriately, including MCC+ users getting their intended gems.

This patch is obviously quite an exciting one with a ton of positive changes, so we’re sorry we didn’t get it right going out of the gate, but we hope you get to enjoy it as intended when we bring the server back online
